Artist Statement
The love of our God can be found in the midst of every moment. My work is an exploration of the ways in which every moment can be transformed into something meaningful and profound. Through my art, I hope to encourage viewers to search for and uncover the light and love of Jesus I have been able to encounter myself over the course of my life.
In addition to the exploration of the faith, my work depicts those who have brought inspiration to the world with their sacrifice for the greater good, as well as their devotion to Christ. I am deeply moved by the lengths the patriots of our country have gone to ensure a brighter future built on faith, love, and truth, and the ways in which their service reflects their devotion to God and their fellow citizens. My work is a celebration of the strength, courage, and selflessness of these individuals and a tribute to the ways in which their service has made a positive impact on our country and our world. I believe that by creating portraits of these individuals, I can help to keep their legacy alive and to inspire others to strive for the same level of sacrifice and devotion to our country and our God.
